Lucid Dreaming. Part 2

Okay. Now when you have better sleep-routines we can begin to work at your dream-memory. There are many people who don't remember their dreams and if you don't remember your dreams it is very hard to take control over them.


So how do we get a better dream-memory? The best thing I know is to keep a dream journal. A dream journal is your personal dream catcher. When you wake up, you write down everything you can remember from your dreams. It can be a feeling, a place or the whole dream if you remember it. Write down EVERYTHING. If you do this you send signals to your subconscious that the dreams are very important to you. Eventually you will start to remember more and more dreams.


After two month of keeping a dream journal, you can go through your journal. You will remember some dreams and some dreams are you remember and some dreams have you forgotten but when you are reading about the dream you will start to remember it again.
This is a very powerful technique that will help you remember your dreams.


So, what do we do then? We have better sleep-routines and now I remember my dreams very well.
Know it is time to have a Lucid Dream.


A good technique is to ask yourself through the day; "Am I dreaming?". And when you ask yourself this you have to do some reality checks. A reality check is a check to see if you are dreaming or not. So, you ask yourself "Am I dreaming?" and then you can look at your hands, a clock, try to fly etc. It can be everything. If you are dreaming your hands maybe have 7 fingers or 15 and the clock can show you two different times.


If you do this 3-4 times/day you will eventually do this in your dreams. If you succeed with this you will be aware that you are dreaming. And if you become aware that you are dreaming, you can take control over the dream.
Remember that when you become aware that you are dreaming you can wake up just because you become so happy that you wake up.
One technique you can use to not wake up is to stretch out your arms and spin around like a tornado. This helps you to stay in the dream. The landscape around you will change but you will not wake up.
